...the other bits that make me up... like a prom queen.

following my five years at university in stirling, scotland, i have moved on. not necessarily forwards, and occasionally only moving by virtue of staying still whilst everything around me speeds by. i'm still just waiting from something to happen, whilst doing what i can to encourage it.

in order to be declared a Master of Philosophy (or Phil M.Phil if you want), i wrote 20,000 words on fanzine history, development and culture. and it's not too bad at all, really. have a look at it here.

in my final undergraduate semester i slaved away on my dissertation on
Gender and Genre in Gainsborough Wartime Melodrama,

have a look at this kafka story...(i selflessly typed it out...okay, i was bored...) i like it a lot... but then, being by kafka, it's bound to be brilliant. it's called a hunger artist.

my birthday's on may 31st, and i'm actually an identical twin, but he was still born. he was to be called robert, but i got it for my middle name instead...i don't feel that that's the only part of him that i have in me. sadly there seems to be something wrong with the lone twin network page at the moment, but if it ever works again, go there to find out more about this. i've never actually met another person that has lost their twin...I don't know what it'd be like, whether i could identify with them like some say they can, but i'd like to, some time...

and if you thought that was depressing, well, my football team is Torquay United! if you're not english, and probably even if you are, you won't have heard of the Gulls...they're a very elite football club, and the finest team ever to field eleven men in a pitched battle of wits, strategy and finesse.

i did at one point have a page about my friends, with links to their pages. but these have fallen away, and they were always dodgy anyway in comparison to my friend carolina's site x
